With the aim of founding the first steel cord production line in Iran, Madacto Steel Cord was incorporated in September 2010 and started constructing a 10,000 MT/Year production plant in May 2011. Our 45,000 m2 plant is located in Darreh-Shahr Industrial Zone in Ilam province.

In order to guarantee the quality of the final product, we decided to utilize the most updated European technology and machinery supplied by GCR Eurodraw (Eurodraw Wire Equipment). Under supervision of GCR, design and development of production halls and buildings as well as engineering, design, procurement and installation of auxiliary equipment have been successfully being executed by local consulting & engineering firms and contractors.

Despite the difficulties we have experienced during the last few years, our production halls, workshops and other buildings have been completely constructed; And production line machines and auxiliary equipment have been installed and commissioned in December 2018, creating 200 direct jobs.

Currently, local tire manufacturers import steel cord from European and East Asian countries. Covering entire local demand, our production line, with annual capacity of 10,000 MT, is capable of supplying steel cord in various sizes and constructions for radial tires used in passenger vehicles and light trucks.
